I did need a deburring wheel for my smaller grinder, and picked up what I could find at the time. I later ran across this one, and liked it right away. If you're familiar with an abrasive eraser for paper, this feels similar and so is light. It's only 1/2" thick, which makes it good for lots, but I think next time I'll go for the 1" for not much more. It does a really good job deburring, though I wouldn't waste this on getting large burrs. It wears relatively quickly by design in comparison to stone wheels for example, so I'd try to get the bigger ones off first, then use this for finishing and finer work which it does quite well without damaging the material you're working with. It's a really good wheel.
