Purchased this to protect some tintype photos. Paper arrived quickly, was well-packaged, with a special note from the small company.

My uses:-to replace glassine paper for temporary storage of my large (e.g. 18" x 24") artworks on paper-these papers go on the front; a plastic corrugated board, from a box multi-pack purchase (that I let air out for over a year, to evaporate any unseen plasticizers, etc) serve as the backing. Or I may put a sheet of this protection paper front & back, along with the corrugated backing board-it serves my purpose as a temporary solution, right out of art college, before earning income on my art, to protect work that was being covered with newsprint, which is acidic. This paper is immeasurably betterQuality:-has the look/ feel of tissue paper, as expected-A “letter†gives assurance of quality: on translucent vellum like white parchment paper, in package (shows through clear outer packaging: basically speaks to give assurance of quality, by reasoning, explaining that the producer is a small family business, & the owner “Ann Christine†has been a dedicated ‘textile artist’ for 35 years, who understands the need for true quality archival paper, & how, due to a large volume of sales to large entities (universities, museums, etc), she is able to afford to also be a supplier to the small, individual consumer at a reasonable price

We got this to repack a wedding dress. Great for protecting art and heirlooms in long term storage.

We're putting some original artwork into storage and this is perfect as the first layer that goes up against the actual medium of the art. I love that it is pH neutral and it does not contain anything that could cause any reaction with the paint or finish of the art. I wish it was a little more affordable, which is the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars.

This is a nice thin white tissue paper. I have no way of knowing if it's acid free but I love the product. I plan to use some of it in my mixed media work.

This tissue paper from Details for Living is incredibly soft and free from acid which is what I was looking for when storing my finished artworks; particularly my alcohol marker artworks which are most vulnerable to the sun and acids. I'm shocked at how different this paper is textured! It's soft and smooth and the sheets are huge. They can be cut or folded easily to store many pieces of artwork in between each other for archival purposes in my art cabinet. :)The quality is perfect for storing my art as the tissue paper is thick and feels very different from normal paper. It's a plain white and unscented so there isn't any worry of transferring the inks from dye into my artwork onto the paper. Additionally, there was a very pleasant letter from the company owner inside on a sheet of vellum as well as two wax seals with lovely roses as a sign of authenticity on the outer shell of the bag. I peeled one off carefully to collect it as a memento.I think overall, if you're an artist serious about storing your artwork for long periods of time, get this paper. It's acid-free and unbuffered/unpowdered which means it won't yellow or damage your work over time. I've used normal tissue paper before and it does eventually yellow the acid-free paper I draw on. This won't do that. I'm absolutely hooked on this and will be reordering when I run out for art archiving.

This tissue paper comes with the fanciest presentation I've ever seen for tissue paper. Complete with two separate red wax seals, and an explanation of the product and and brand.Since I'm not an archivist, I depend on the product being what it says it is. And that is dependent on reputation. The fact that they go to so much trouble to brand this is helpful because I really don't want to use an inappropriate tissue on my artwork. I'm trusting it not to be acidic, And I would only find out if it's not years later. So it's important to get this right. One thing I've noted is that the sheets are a good large size making it easier to wrap around artwork. Some regular tissue I have bought recently has been coming in narrower and narrower sheets. Whereas these are a full 2 ft wide.Overall I'm satisfied with this order.
