I bought this to replace the non-responsive touch screen in my 2013 Chevy Sonic LTZ and it fit and worked as expected—original factory workmanship with a quality finish.If you're not afraid of taking apart delicate electrical devices, this is a straightforward replacement which I could complete in 30 minutes. Just be careful removing the cables from the radio head, they're delicate.

You almost have to tear down the entire radio to change. I think most people won't be able to change it. Buy t if you a detailed person you might. Just don't pull the connectors there is a little flap that holds it in. Lift up the flap and connector comes off

Firstly, this is a horrible job to do. Also, this screen has accuracy problems with the touch screen. It works…sort of. Cheaper than buying from the dealer but you are getting what you pay for, a $25 LCD touch screen.Also, just a suggestion, but buy a new plastic trim piece that goes around it, too. It is pretty flimsy, I used plastic trim tools and it still broke before I got it off. I suggest to just plan on breaking it. What’s another $25 dollars. Dealer would charge you 100s for this job anyway. You’re already way ahead of the game if you’re doing this yourself.Now that we are through getting the trim out, getting the radio out is a pain. All the wires have clips you have to press to get them out, they don’t just pull out. After that is out, 30 screws later you will be down to the screen. Careful with the ribbon cables if you’re not familiar with them. I am a computer and car guy so the knowledge helped. Watch a YouTube video.Getting the screen in is easy, basically just sets in. But now, welcome to ribbon cable hell. I had to install and re-install the ribbon cables 4 times. First time, missed the power button one. Next 3 times LCD wasn’t coming on even though all the cables looked good. First I checked all the fuses. Then I thought the new screen was defective. Final time, after much swearing, it came on. These cables are tedious and they have to be just so. So, if something doesn’t seem right or if it doesn’t work, just re-do them all. It was infuriating. Should have been done in 60 minutes, took 3 hours.Last suggestion, when you get the screen in, don’t put all the screws back in when you’re putting together the radio again, just enough to hold it together. Go out to the car, test it. If it works, super, put the rest of the screws in. If it doesn’t, at least you’re not in for undoing 30, potentially stripping a head and making this already miserable job, worse. Good luck!
