The auto meter ultra-lite vacuum gauge is so far so good. I have it hook up to my power brakes vacuum can. I ran the line from the V can under the hood to in side of the car this way I can see when I am going to run out of brakes. (large cam) What good will it be under the hood on the V can I can not see If .

This vacuum gauge installed very easily in my 1985 Toyota 4Runner.It comes with a hard plastic vacuum line that you tap into your intake manifold vacuum and you can then monitor it in your vehicle.The needle responds well with little to zero lag, and holds a steady position when you are not adjusting the throttle position.I have nothing negative to say about this gauge.Conclusion- Highly recommended!

only thing that sucks is this will produce alot of condensation if its raining or there's moisture in the air, which clouds up the gauge inherently making the gauge unreadable. 4 stars because of this reason. other than that can't ever go wrong with a functioning vacuum gauge.used it to set-up a new Carb on my sbc which helped alot to find leaks.

Product works perfectly and accurate. Easy installation into 2-1/16†dash hole. Used as an air filter restriction gauge on semi truck. Would have given 5 stars, but bezel is more silver than chrome in colour. Comes with all air fittings to plumb directly to source, as well as green or orange bulb covers to change light colour.
