I bought this carrier for a 1500 mile drive. The zipper on the litterbox makes it convenient to carry to and from hotel rooms and to add or remove to or from the carrier while on the go. My only complaint on the litter part is that the walls are really easy to bend, so my cat did spill some litter out. It’s a really sturdy quality for the carrier. I lined the bottom with puppy pee pads for water spills while driving. My 10 pound cat fit easily in it with plenty of space to sprawl out and relax. I would definitely recommend this to anyone planning on road trips with a cat!

We used this for our cat on our cross country road trip. Easy to strap into seat and carry her into the hotel room before letting her out. We opened the side pouch that is for storing food and such and cut the material out so we could easily pull out the litter box to clean it. The zipper still closes that area up, worked great for us and Kitty.

This cat carrier is very sturdy and I was impressed by the quality. I took our kitten with us on a trip but she was too frightened that she never used the potty. So even though it's a good idea I don't know if she'll ever use it. But as far as the carrier goes I'm been using that quite a few times taking her to the vet. My kitten is 4 months old and is still big enough to hold her. It's deep enough so she doesn't feel trapped. So even though the potty part wasn't useful the item itself was worth the price I thought.

I have a big cat, when I decided to move from CA to GA I decided to give this a go, it made the trip much easier for my boy as I was able to give him pets as we drove 10+ hours a day. He did have an accident in it the 2nd day, and it survived a thorough washing. Note for anyone attempting a similar trip - plan ahead for shading from the sun, before I realized the sun was making him uncomfortably warm in spots he was very restless trying to move away from it constantly. I used some pillows and made a impromptu sun shade that did the trick and he relaxed immediately.

Moved with cat... Had every convenience available. She liked the space and the ability to use litter area. 18 hour trip. Would buy again and also recommended to several friends.

So this carrier really outdid itself. I traveled with my daughter's cat from Georgia to Massachusetts; this carrier was a game changer.I will say that I thought it was going to be a little snug due to him being 14 pounds. But it really served it's purpose. Definitely a good buy and will recommend to others. Even the quality of the fabric is scratch proof for your fuzzy friend.
