I'd been wanting to make several triangle- and diamond-shaped patchwork quilts, and Krista Moser's mini diamond ruler fit the bill for my needs. I love the tip is flat on both ends, and the inclusion of several sizes of hexagons lines and the center line makes fussy cutting a breeze. The Creative Grids non-slip texture on the bottom makes cutting super simple. Overall, great choice for a specialty ruler. Can be costly for the individual quilter, however, so check with your guild if you can share with someone else before committing to buy one. I've used it for several projects already, so I think the cost matches its value in my case.

I have not had a chance to use this ruler yet in my quilting. I ordered it to use for a specific quilting pattern but I haven’t got to that point yet but this particular ruler has a very good rating so I’m pretty sure I will not have any problems using it.

This is a nice solid little ruler. I never thought I would be able to quilt with different shapes, but this made it really easy and the instructions were easy to follow.
