Yes, yes, this valve isn't for a furnace - it's for a water heater, but if you're like me and found this while looking for a replacement for the discontinued Atwood 31155 gas valve, you CAN make it work.I did this by moving the orifice AND tube from the old valve to this one (mercifully they both have 3/8" npt outlet ports), and installing it sideways (input port UP, and solenoid coils to the left, touching the fan housing). I then drilled a hole through the top of the furnace sheet metal to feed the supply line in from the top. A little non-standard, but works like a charm!I think it would be quite possible to creatively use a bunch of elbows and short pieces of pipe to get the input closer to the "correct" place, but I didn't try it. If you have the time and a good hardware store nearby, and you don't want to drill holes, there's hope for sure.So happy I didn't have to spend $800 on a new furnace!

Valve did not fit. Very difficult return process. Double check first with the seller (NOT AMAZON) before buying this item. Not recommended.
