While Ibanez guitars are a great value, their components tend to represent the kind of lowest quality and reliability typical of cost-conscious manufacturers. The 3-way switch became intermittent so I replaced it with the Dopro Guitar 3 Way Short-Frame Toggle Switch. To my delight, the build quality is excellent and ruggedized. The switch action is very smooth with a distinctive but low force "click" tactile. The terminals are easy to solder without the risk of overheating and melting a cheap plastic housing as was the former stock switch. The gold toggle actuator is very smoothy polished gold plated brass. My customer was truly impressed by the feel and quality and the quiet switching action between pickups. The former stock switch developed an audible pop when selecting between pickups, which this switch has beautifully and fully remedied.

Good replacement switch for my Fender Dousonic. Easy to wire and fit under the scratch guard.

Mine says Epiphone. But I doubt a switch of this (low) quality is used by Epiphone, except maybe on some of their novelty items. It's got a pretty flimsy build, it rattles at the pivot, and retention in the pole positions is not reassuring. This is not a ten dollar toggle switch by any means, it's a fleecing.Update: The company reached out to me on their own and made sure that I got a solid one. They sent a fee replacement that works perfectly, and it got here quickly. That's above and beyond, and it means they're looking out for their reputation. That means something. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this switch again because I know the company will make it right.

Good replacement for a switch on an old guitar. The metal has good weight to it and the action is clean.

I like functional, as well as aesthetics. This switch does it's job well, was easy to install and feels durable.Aesthetically, the finish plating on the switch cap is quite poor and uneven. I'm fairly confident that it will oxidize and look like trash in a year.If your guitar is a beater, this is your cheap fix, and will last for years. Just don't expect it to look pretty
