I ordered this socket set to work on my old classic cars. I like the carrying case and the ratchet and the 3 extension bars. The ratchet and bars seem very sturdy and durable. However, the sockets don't appear or feel to be of the same quality and durability as the ratchet and extension bars. They are thinner than other sockets I have. However, it's nice to have this whole socket set in one carrying case. Overall, it's a great set to have for the weekend mechanic like myself.

This kit contains everything you need when removing and replacing virtually any size spark plug. It is well organized and having everything in one place is very convenient. The included tools are high quality and well organized.Pros : A) Tools are chrome vanadium steel with quality chrome plating B) Sockets are thin wall, clearly marked and contain an actual rubber insert for holding the plug instead of the typical foam type. C) Contains a metric and English gap gage D) The ratchet is fine toothed, works extremely smooth and feels good in hand. E) Sockets are well marked F) The case is well organized with good latchesCons : A) The case is a typical blow molded one. The sockets are not held in place at at all. The rest of the tools have "nubs" to hold them in but they are not very effective in my example. If you happen to open it upside down virtually everything will fall out. Overall this kit is a cut above some others I have seen due to the quality of the components. Especially appreciated is the actual rubber insert in the sockets that works really well and the fine tooth ratchet with its extremely smooth and low force action. A good buy at it's current price point.

As a mobile mechanic I don't have a lot of space to keep every single size socket for removing spark plugs. This eight piece 3/8 drive spark plug socket said also has a grabber with it and a 6 inch extension which makes the perfect kit for any spark plug that I run into that has to be removed and replaced. The quality of the tools is very nice and has a very nice clean finish on them. They are magnetic and hold onto the socket decent size magnet that's in each one of them. I really like how small the carrying case is and how neat and organized it is as well. I highly recommend this for anyone who's on the road or working in a shop who constantly has to deal with different size spark plugs on a daily basis.

Spark plug falls right out it does not hold the plug when you take it out.
