First I thought I'd skip buying a Montessori protractor. But after reading why and how to use it, I decided to buy this one. The quality is very acceptable. I don't know the high quality o ones how they're supposed to be, but this does the job very well. Mine seems not perfectly flat on a hard surface, but I can live with that. The numbers and lines are clear and well- defined. It's been very helpful in our geometry study using the metal insets fractions. My child (7) learned that a third of a circle is 120°, and that 3 x 120° gives a full circle with a total of 360°. Now if I ask, can you spin around 120°, 180°, and 360°, I can see that she understood the lesson, and learned something that she can apply in real life as well.

The center line was off center so I needed to repaint it, otherwise it's fine. My fraction insets fit perfectly.

These are made of wood. They are traditionally made with metal and are more durable. The vertex was off center, it was printed way too high up. I was able to use a white marker and adjust it, but that's a big issue for a protractor to have. It'll still work for my classroom, but the quality is not amazing.

The center of both the protractor and centessimal are off about 1/4 inch, making it hard for children to accurately use. The cutout for the protractor is slightly smaller than the centessimal board, so that fraction circles don't fit all the way in the protractor.
