Simple to install, works just like a conventional switch.I have installed quite a few switches. This is very simple. It came with 2 leads, 1 short and 1 long. I installed this in a Dean ML and there was more than enough using the long lead.The function of the switch it the same, just much tighter.The traditional Switchcraft is very easy to switch, where this is tighter.Over all I think this is a great product and it should last a long time.

EMG Solderless Toggle Switch with Cables 3 Position Lever Black Knob B289Arrived quickly and in great shape, items was brand new.Installed one of these items in two different Les Pauls.Worked great with the Het Set and also the Zakk Wylde set. To me this is a must have, makes installation nice and clean. Easy plug and play with the Pick up sets instead of messing around with wiring the old switch.

I own a pair of heavily modified EVH Wolfgang Standards with a set of active EMG JH "HET" Set pickups in them. Over the last half year or more I've been having trouble with one of them, my best girl, "Snow". Random static and drop-outs were common and I was pulling my hair out, figuratively speaking, trying to find the cause in my rig. This took me down a rabbit hole, as it were, of cleaning up the wiring of my pedal board and amp, and finally, to digging into the wiring of the guitar, itself. Upon closer inspection, I realized early on that I was having trouble selecting between pickups and the problem was getting consistently worse as time went on, and finally realized that the three-way switch was bad.The beauty of EMG hardware, as most know, is their solderless design. Out with the old switch, in with the new, and within plus/minus 5 minutes (it actually took longer to unscrew the back plate than to replace the part) blissfully full, rich tone was mine again. FINALLY!!! What can I say? It just works. I just hope this one won't go bad over time like the last one did.

I'm glad I buy this along with my EMG's set .No soldering required. Easy installation. You may require to make a bigger hole to make it fit in position.

Very smooth, and easy to install. Along with the solderless wiring hardware to the pick ups, it woke the inner beast in my LTD!

Been an EMG convert as of late, and the instructions are so easy to follow. Definitely recommend this if you don’t have a 3-Way toggle to use for your EMG project!

It's a little expensive, but not having to solder is almost worth the price. Switch quality is middle of the road, at nearly 30 dollars could be better.

This works perfectly with the solderless wiring. Would recommend this if you need a toggle switch with ur EMGs!
