Use the Guide Stop to adapt the Festool OF 1400 Router for use with the FS Guide Rail System for perfectly guided, straight routing. The OF 1400 Guide Stop features fine-adjustment controls, allowing you to precisely adjust the distance to cut in increments of 1/10mm. Also included with the Guide Stop is a support foot to levels the router to the surface of the guide rail, ensuring smooth, accurate results and increased stability. The Guide Stop attaches quickly and easily using two rods included in the scope of delivery of the OF 1400 router, and two knobs that double as handles for guiding the router along the guide rail. Made in Germany.

I bought this along with the Festool OF 1400 router and couldn't be more pleased. It worked great for milling tenons on the end of a dining room table im building. Highly recommend this accessory

Worked great like most things Festool. A little pricey but I think it paid for itself in one set of cabinet shelves. The usual Festool quality instructions too (that sentence should have the sarcasm font). Festool users will recognize that you either get it when you first see it or from the pictures OR you go to YouTube and find someone who's kindly taken the time to post adequate instructions. After a while you get used to it and realize they do great tools and poor instructions. Perhaps they'll figure that part out soon.

outstanding product! Installation on the router is straight-forward, adjustment and accuracy are excellent. Easy to use with one hand guiding the router and the other keeping slight pressure on the guide knob. First use was making 28" long tenons in the end of a hard maple workbench that I built which was incredibly easy with this guide and the Festool router. Like the other Festool products that i own, this guide is very well engineered and easy to use

We got this for running dados with our Festool 1400 router. Used it on this liquor display cabinet for a client, and it did great. Kept our dados precise.I’d highly recommend! Easy to setup and use.

The item itself is great - it’s Festool so it’s perfect. But, also because it’s Festool it’s expensive. So I’m a bit frustrated that the item I purchased arrived clearly used. Again, the item will work but paying this much for an item that arrives with scuff marks and dings is frustrating. 5/5 for the item. 0/5 for the seller.

This is a strange product. It does not come with instructions and references to the instructions are not to be found on the Festool website. After much research I found a reference in a Festool blog. I had also ordered a Festool Router to use with a guide. The instructions that come with the Router are useless. The instructions for this product are part of an expanded Router User Guide written by a third party.Once you download the Router expanded user guide, the instructions for the use of this product are covered. The biggest problem with Festool is lack of product documentation. I have several Festools products and the quality is excellent but overpriced and a consistent lack of user guides. If you are just getting into Festool products expect to spend considerable time finding useful documentation.

By far the cheapest Festool product I have ever purchased and quite possibly my second favorite (nothing will ever beat the domino). So easy to use and the set up takes seconds. You owe it to yourself to buy these if you own an OF 1400.

The Festool Guide Stop Adapter is very useful. When used with the OF1400 router and a guide rail, it makes routing dadoes very easy. When used without the guide rail, for trimming laminate edges for example, it helps to stabilize the router because its bottom surface is parallel with the base of the router. You can put one hand on the top of the Guide Stop Adapter and one hand on the router and it makes it more stable. It uses the same rails, included with the router,mthat insert into the base that the edge guide uses.

Halt Festool, Qualität passt, es funktioniert wie Vorgesehen und löst für mich ein Problem.Ein Stern für den Amazon Lieferdienst, der das Paket übers Tor eine Hausnummer weiter geworfen hat und die Ware angeblich einem Hausbewohner übergeben hat. Also mal wieder Ostern und fröhliches Paketesuchen. Die 4. mangelhafte Lieferung in Folge. Das alles bekommt man Prime.

I've found this remarkably useful. Imagine if you will that it gives you the functionality of mounting your router in a table, meaning that you can profile edges without getting wobble at either end of the work that you can get with just a side fence. Great purchase.
