Boron nitride disc hexagonal structure, density 2.27g/cm³, Mohs hardness of 2, with good electrical insulation, thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance and chemical stability.
The thermal expansion coefficient of boron nitride is very low, usually between 2-4 × 10-⁶/°C, it can maintain dimensional stability in environments with large temperature variations, reduce thermal stresses and deformations, and has good thermal shock resistance.
Boron nitride ceramics have excellent high-temperature resistance, able to withstand temperatures up to 2000°C, strong electrical insulation, very low conductivity, and are widely used in electronic devices, heat dissipation materials, and high-temperature-resistant components.
Boron nitride ceramics can be used for sintering and melting metals, rare earths, ceramics and other materials, with many metals, ceramic materials do not react, do not bond.
