I bought these to replace the larger black remotes that came with my fans. The originals lasted about 1.5 years, all 6 of them are in the garbage. These are slim and easy to program to the fans, and seem to work faster and more reliably than the originals. I tried a knock-off version, and while it works, these are much better for the same price.

My wife misplaced the remote which came with the fan. The fan was not operative for the lack of the remote. She looked hard to find it with no success. Initially I found it with another seller. But here was a shipping cost which seemed high. I decided to look at Amazon. Happyily, I found it on Amazon. I took a chance and bought this remote which appeared to look like the one she misplaced. My concern was if it is compatible with the installed receiver in the fan. It was. And it was a cinch to pair it with her fan, and it works beautifully.

We bought our son a hunter fan with a remote thinking it would make his life so much easier to just be able to grab the remote and control the lights & fan. That works great if you don’t lose your remote, almost immediately. If you lose your remote you have to unscrew the lightbulbs to have the lights off and the fan on L O L.This replacement remote arrived in a very timely manner, was easy to connect to the fan & works like a charm. My son no longer has to unscrew the lightbulbs to have the fan on at night win win.

I couldn’t get it to pair the first few times I tried and I was starting to get really frustrated, but I just kept trying. It is really quite simple. Turn the switch on the wall on push the pairing button. You don’t want to hold it down, but you want to push it for a solid push If that makes sense. It’s in between holding it down and a super quick tap. You will hear a beep and you are then good to go.

I got this because I didn't want to use the wall-mounted control that came with my new Hunter Fan. It was easy to use and worked straight out of the box... no "pairing" or anything like that required. I will say that the remote loses some ease of use by paring down the number of buttons. It takes a bit to figure out how to switch between controlling the fan and the light.

I ordered this because we lost the original remote and we don't have pull strings on ours. I was worried it wouldn't pair up but it works perfectly. To pair you only need to turn it off at the switch if possible, otherwise use the circuit breaker. When you power it back up, wait for about 3 seconds and short press the pairing button and release. You will hear a beep and then it is paired. Simple and fast. So glad that I bought it!

Could not get this remote to pair by just switching off power at the switch.Once I switched power off at breaker, it paired perfectly.
