I love my janome! It’s easy to use, work with, and it’s cute! It’s a pretty decent size and it’s not to heavy where it makes it a stationary sewing machine!

I've been sewing for 40+ years, and I own several machines including a serger, a computerized Janome, and now this sweet little machine. I bought it to use for repairs and small sewing projects at my partner's home, because I didn't want to drag my machine back and forth. I've already used it for several projects and am impressed with its sturdiness and ease of operation. It sews well and has a nice variety of stitches. It's definitely a keeper. I noticed some reviews mention it seems a bit noisy, but it's a mechanical machine--- not computerized, so the working components will be more noticeable. Couldn't be happier with it.

I am not a novice sewer. My well used Singer "bit the dust" and I needed a new machine. I did not want to spend a lot on a new machine. I read that Singer is not what it used to be and this brand is better. This is an excellent machine for beginners and for those who do not need a lot of bells and whistles.

I needed a reliable zig zag machine, and I loved my previous Janome Sewist (moved along long ago) so I ordered this. It skipped stitches and couldn't make a proper zig zag. I removed the cover plate and bobbin case and could see clearly the needle/hook timing was way off, but there was no way for the user to fix it. So I sent it back for a replacement, which worked fine for one day and then...same problem. I replaced the needle. I replaced the thread. The defect got worse and worse ( see photo). So I'm returning this one and whatever I replace it with will not be a Janome Mod.

I was desperate for a sewing machine now, with a very limited budget. I know Janome is a good brand, so I thought I'd take a chance on it. Especially because I could buy it with 3 payments.It arrived in 2 days. I threaded it and had a problem that I was able to resolve. It doesn't seem to like cotton thread. It kept breaking. I changed the thread to polyester thread, which I have plenty of, and it sews beautiful!I have been able to sew for hours with no issues until my bobbin runs out, lol!I did find the light too dim, so I purchased this light strip and resolved that issue.I'm ecstatic with my little sewing machine. I don't need anything but a straight stitch for quilting. This is perfect for me. I highly recommend it. A Very Satisfied Customer!!!

This is a really nice sturdy sewing machine. It has been a few years since I have been able to own a machine… my old one wasn’t working well at all, always bunching up the threads; it got me so annoyed one day that I ditched it in the trash. A friend told me about this brand, I researched and checked all of the reviews before making the purchase and I am very pleased with it. I love that it threads the needle for me (I had always struggled with that part). It runs so smoothly and quietly. I am so happy I decided on Janome brand.

La he usado poco, pero la quiero para mezclilla y cortinas, cuando se necesite... espero dure. Lo poco que la he usado me ha parecido muy buena, cuando ya son fibras un poco gruesas, batalla un poco, pero por el precio y lo sencilla que es, para mi ha sido excelente.

The machine itself is good, but unfortunately supplied in 110 V (US) variant in European Amazon.I expect that in Germany site should be 220 V power supply, or at least warning about exception
