Loving this Jethro SIM card. I had some difficulty transferring my phone number from the previous carrier, so I had to call the customer service number. I got a human being on the phone fairly painlessly, and they walked me through the steps to transfer my number. I'm not the world's most technical guy, so some hand-holding was necessary. Hector, in particular, was a great help. He was able to get my phone ported so I could retain my phone number, and was extremely patient with this Luddite. Now I've got unlimited talk and text at a great price, and great customer service to fall back on if needed. Jethro is the way to go!

Not sure it wrote clearly on the website description when I purchased, but if I know the 8gb data is yearly not monthly, I will NEVER NEVER NEVER buy it. As an unknown company, it's MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than all the MVNO company. Don't buy it!

I’ve used other low-cost MVNOs before, and frankly, some are a complete rip-off and just aren't worth the time it takes to use their service. Jethro is different. Targeting the needs of elderly users, they've tailored their phones and plans to that crowd. I got their newest phone and unlimited plan for my aging mother and so far, it's working well. I had to call customer service once and I got a human without waiting on hold. (Shock!) He fixed the problem in less than two minutes and it stayed fixed. Even their pre-sales support was excellent, when I called and got a human who answered all my questions patiently. Don't expect an iPhone-quality phone with iPhone-like features. But you'll pay less than one-tenth the price of an iPhone. The plan delivers what it promises, so do your homework inn their offerings, and if they match your needs, you'll be happy with Jethro. Now, the name...let's not go there.

I am completely satisfied with this phone. Of course, texting is a bit awkward but very easy once you get the hang of it. And the pure relief of not having "smartphone-type" intrusions is heavenly! This is the perfect phone for people who just want talk and text capability. In addition, customer support is terrific!
