At this point I assume you're familiar with the specs so I'll go directly to my impressions...This Mono case is crazy expensive but after lots of research I decided that this is the case I wanted protecting my multi-thousand dollar basses. Now that I've been using it for several months I'm very happy with my decision. I have a couple of other gig bags that I've used in the past and they're okay for keeping my basses protected in my studio but when I'm leaving the house and putting my babies at risk I always go for the Mono.Pros:Protection. The ABS inserts, padding and other features seriously protect your investment.Neck block. As the name implies it holds the neck firmly and protects it from shock.Style. It looks cool. I've had quite a few double-takes and comments since I started carrying the Mono.Storage. While it's not got a huge volume (see below) it does have numerous pockets and straps to hold cords and accessories. NiceCons.Shoulder Straps. The straps on this case are of such a design and length that even at it's lowest settings the bass rides significantly higher on my shoulders than other cases. When I use the Mono I tend to bump into overhead light fixtures and door frames. I'm 6 foot 4 so this may not be an issue for you but I find it annoying.Storage. As noted above there are lots of pockets and straps but the total volume of storage is just a little less than I would like. If it had just a tad more I would be able to travel to and from gigs with no more than this bag. As it is I have to care another small bag for the few pedals that won't quite fit in the Mono.Price. It seems like you either pay 20 bucks for a crappy gig bag or a couple hundred for a nice one. There's really not much in between. This bag is nice but I don't know that it's ten times nicer than a standard bag.ConclusionNow the magic question - would I buy it again? Yes I would but I must say if somebody comes out with a $99 semi-solid bag Mono would have some competition.

As a professional guitarist with multiple high-value instruments, I have found the Mono M80 cases to be the best of any case I've owned. The padding is extremely sufficient in all areas, the headlock is fantastic, the texture of the case is great (and waterproof!), there is plenty of storage, and the backpack straps are extremely comfortable, flexible, and easy to hook/unhook. Also, the case is the thinnest of any kind.I own 3 M80's, an acoustic version for my Gibson ES-175, Taylor 814ce, and my classical guitars, a semi-hollow version for my 335, and an electric version for my solid bodies. I would highly recommend these cases for FLYING. I've never once had a problem carrying them on/fitting them in the overheads, and their slim profile and backpack straps make it very easy to avoid issues with airline agents. The storage compartment expands quite a bit when you pack it, which is very nice. For reference, the compartment will easily fit a 13" Macbook Pro, but the 15" Retina MacBook Pro just barely fits...so tight that I would pretty much say it doesn't fit.Great item from a great company + Amazon Prime shipping = 5 Stars!

I have been searching for the perfect gig bag for my two OM size Martins for some time. Martin doesn't seem interested in making them and dreadnaught bags are too big. My problem is that some of the bags that manufacturers say fit the OM's just don't.The Mono bag not only fits, it is by far the highest quality gig bag I have ever used in 30+ years playing live. My fellow weekend warriors know a hard shell case can be a real pain in the butt for club gigs. The challenge is finding a gig bag that's light and still offers more than reasonable protection. The Mono bag does it. Storage is just okay but the design is so well thought out and executed that I found it worth the $200 price tag. If you want THE last gig bag you'll ever need then put the Mono on your list along with the Reunion Blues Continental. I shopped them both but picked the Mono.NOTE: Mono makes a nifty shaving kit sized accessory bag that fits snugly on the case for added storage. Very cool unit but I cannot understand how they can charge about a hundred bucks for such a small organizer. Come on guys, you say your products are by musicians for musicians, give us semi-professionals a break! It's half the price of a full-blown gig bag and 1/10th the size!Buy the Mono guitar/bass gig bags, they are top shelf!!

Need portability and protection? Mono M80 is the way to go. I gig "semi-pro" and always bring a guitar to my "day job" 24 hour shifts. Bottom line, I carry a guitar around a lot. Back and forth to work and in and out of gigs with no support crew and next to no set up time. The bag provides plenty of protection and very solidly built, using quality materials and intelligent design. The pockets are divided up with spots for business cards, strings, tools, the hip lever for my B-Bender, slides, even a keeper for a cord.Well thought out, perfectly executed.

As a long time user of bags by another major manufacturer I was hesitant to try something new, but this is really nice. Similar to the RB Continental (which I also own), but more and easier pockets to access. Very protective on all sides. I also purchased the optional Tic accessory pouch which attaches neatly above the existing zipper pocket. Very handy. This bag is large; really large and is a bit top heavy even prior to adding the Tic. I imagine the electric guitar bag would be better balanced because of the body weight and it isn't a big deal unless you're carrying it by the handle rather than the back straps.

I bought this as I have a few valuable guitars that need some good support and protection, however, I was getting tired of lugging around hard cases and was craving more storage. This has solved all of those problems and then some.I've got heaps more storage with this bag and the optional tick attachment that I also bought, best of all I can keep it all on my back which free's up my hands to carry other things for shows etc.It seems fairly durable and keeps the guitars I've tried so far snug and secure.

First Mono bag was for a bass guitar and I was pretty satisfied with the protection and quality build back in 2016. I purchased a second Mono bag for the electric and the quality is very consistent. Used the bag for regular gigging and it is holding up well. The gig bag has firm padding along the sides, top and bottom. The exterior material is quite durable and rain resistant. Lots of storage space in the top, front and back of bag. I was able to store a small binder, a couple of patch cords, misc. small items, etc. The bag is quite light and it is comfortable walking between the car and the venue. Adjustable and padded shoulder straps. The M80 looks like it provides more protection (in my opinion) than their other bags in their line-up.Since it is a gig bag, it does provide some protection against accidental light bumps. However, it doesn't provide the same protection as a hard case if you plan to throw it in the back of the truck with Marshall and Ampeg cabinets.Overall, very satisfied with the gig bag. It is pricy but I wouldn't trust any other manufacture with my musical instruments.
