For best results, don't exceed a maximum RPM of 18,000. When clamping the bit, insert the shank fully into the collet and then pull it out 2-3mm. Take shallow depth passes or gradually increase feed rate and depth for the smoothest, most precise cuts.

This was the perfect size to fit the drawers I made. Plenty of space for both 1/4" and 1/2" bits. I didn't realize I had so many router bits until I started to fill the holder. Bits fit snugly but you can easily remove them. Also the foam has no bad odors like I saw in some competitive products. Highly recommended.

I’ve been acquiring router bits for 40 years. The carbide bits are expensive and can chip easily. The sets I buy go back in the wooden box. The single ones go in the foam caddy. There are plenty of 1/4†and 1/2†holes so I can organize the straight cutting, shaped, round over and spiral bits.Get one of these (or several) to protect your investments in expensive carbide router bits!
