Exotic Nutrition's Sandy Trimmer Track fits into the Silent Runner 12" small wheel for nail trimming use.
MEASUREMENTS: This track is used by inserting into Exotic Nutrition's Orange Silent Runner 12" Regular exercise wheel only. Will not fit other pet exercise wheels. Track has 12" diameter and is 2 3/8" wide.
FEATURES:

I have purchased several of these through the years for my gliders. They work great. Until this one. The Sandy portion immediately came loose from the track, allowing urine and feces to get underneath it and the whole thing has now come loose and stinks to high heaven. I’ve contacted the seller for direction. Prior to this the product has been very solid and holds up for years.* update: I reached out to exotic nutrition with my problem. They are shipping out another free of charge. I will update this review based on how this second one works out.

Skeptical when it arrived in a small package and rolled up but once installed it worked great at filing down my sugar gliders nails. One spot on it looked like the sand paper was coming up.

This is GREAT. Trimmed the rats toe nails wonderfully. No more scratches.A+++ Highly recommend!!!Yes the whole set up is a bit pricey. I’m happy I spent the extra money. Plus it’s quite, almost no noise at all. Kinda a whirring noise.

This product worked for the first two days and then the sand started peeling off the track. I pushed it back down and glued some other part, but just save your money, and invest in a good wheel like the raptor wheel or something. Don't be me lol

This item worked well to replace the track I had before, and I don't mind that it was a small package upon delivery - it's just the replacement track. However, when it was rolled up to be shipped, the sandy part was on the outside and did crack in at least one spot. Time will tell if the gliders are able to pull it loose. Having it rolled like that made it harder to install than it should have been. It also did not come with the clear end-to-end clip that you get from buying the full wheel. Good thing my original was in tact. Four stars is not for the item performance (it works as intended, so that part gets 5 stars), but for how it's packed and the missing end-to-end clip.

I don't normally write reviews, but I certainly read them when trying to make a decision. I took a gamble when purchasing this product because no one had written whether they used the Sandy Track for their pet rats. I wasn't sure this thing would be just the right amount of abrasive so it only "filed" nails rather than wearing down paw pads and increasing the risk for bumble foot. I waited a month and a half of letting my rats enthusiastically use it and inspected their paws every night before bed. I have declared it safe now. It was a risk well-rewarded.I was starting to get allergic reactions to the scratches left by my rats when they climb my bare skin. Now I don't worry about it anymore because this addition to their wheel files their nails just enough to where they don't leave any visible scratching on my sensitive skin. I'd recommend this product to anyone suffering a similar condition.

I would have love to give this 5 stars because I don't use it with the silent Runner I use it with the mesh stealth wheel on the outside for my sugar gliders if it was designed for that definitely 5 stars but if you use it with the silent Runner I could see that making all the critters feet extremely Raw

Product came with its sanding strip glued to external side inside of internal: literally it's convolute tight with sanding part outside. Tried to make it right - but impossible without damaging the sanding strip.

It doest stay on the wheel and i cut so it is not 1 piece that fits in the wheel nicely. Would not reccommended for your hedgie too coarse.

Not worth the price, it was folded badly that it won't fit into the wheel smoothly
