Shars Tool 3" 90 Degree R8 Shank Indexable End Mill

Benefit from the 90-degree lead angle allows efficient square shoulder milling and the ability to machine workpieces with weak structures or thin walls over a 45-degree face mill. It uses an industry-standard APKT/APMT 1604 insert with a positive 11-degree clearance angle and a depth of cut of 0.630" or 14mm. The insert pockets are designed to be 19 degrees positively inclined to minimize vibration and allow fast cutting and lowering cutting noise.
