Works okay. Be sure and set pressure 5 psi below cut in pressure. Try to get most of the water out of the tank.

Good controller for a well pump. After about 35 years I had a pressure switch go bad so i replaced it with another Square D switch. I have used these for years on several different setups with no issues in durability and longevity.Depending on what you need, these come in various pressure ranges for use as pump switches to air compressor switches. I have rarely seen quality control issues with any of their products.

I purchased this because it stated it was the Square D brand. It works, I will use it but I was choosing Square D for quality. I could have purchased a non square d for considerably less money on Amazon.

My old pressure switch was a 30-50 psi but was kicking on at 30 and off at 80. After I replaced it with this pressure switch the kick on/off was 40 psi on and 65 psi off. Factory setting appears to be a little off but the instructions that come with the switch tell you EXACTLY how to adjust it to your needs. I didn't adjust mine as a 65psi shut off is fine for my installation.
