Item looks to be made well. I ordered this for my new PB700 Pit Boss Grill that I just purchased from Walmart. Although shelf is well made it does not fit on my new grill.

shelf does not fit. Legs of my pit different than what is shown on your directions. can'teven drill holes on my pitt to makit work. No information for return. would like to return and purchace end shelf. Help

Got this because I attached a cold smoker to my Pit Boss 700FB and there's no where to set anything anymore. This shelf works great!Pros+ Installation. The installation is super simple. Since my grill is almost 7 years old, one of the old screws was rusted. But the new hardware fits perfectly. 4 screws for the brackets and one screw/grommet to hold the shelf. Easy.+ Function. The shelf folds down and up easily. And it holds a cast iron 9x13 full of meat. It is very nice that it folds down and out of the way.+ Construction. The steel is sturdy. The paint is durable. Everything should last for as long as the grill doest.Cons+ My only wish is that the notch for folding the shelf down would allow it to fold in another inch. That would make it truly out of the way. It sticks out a little bit when folded down as designed. But it's still very handy to have!

I strongly recommend 100%I wish I would have found this product year's ago when I got my smoker (Z Grill)! Best upgrade of the handful I have done to my smoker.I had to drill 4 holes and sourced some nuts for supplied bolts (metric M3.5 I believe). Installation took less than 20mins start to finish. I love the fit on my smoker and it functionality most excellently!Metal is plenty thick and finished well. This is a great value!

My Pit Boss didnt come with the front shelf. I added this shelf and it is a game changer. Quick and easy to install. If you are looking to add a shelf for the front of your Pit Boss, I would highly recommend this.
