Palmgard Sting-Stopper Protective Glove Insert
Protective insert for use inside baseball and softball gloves. Specifically developed shock-absorbing cushions protect critical areas of hand. Snuggly secured with 2 elastic straps on index and middle finger and fits comfortably inside the glove.

My 13 yr old son uses this when he's playing catcher for his baseball team. Helps to reduce the sting of a ball he caught just off the pocket.

ALMOST perfect! The middle finger pad is a little too much with the flex of MY mitt, and still had some sting for me. So I cut the middle finger part off and doubled it up on the pointer... now is PERFECT! No sting on the pointer, plenty of room to squeeze with middle finger, and actually is easier to use than maneuvering TWO padded fingers.This worn in conjunction with an evoshield thumb guard and catching is NOTHING anymore! No swollen finger, no jambed thumb on lefty sliders, better feel than a palmgard glove or defender as my hand is mostly bare... I wish I used this combo sooner, and wish these products existed a couple decades ago!

This does work to some degree - it mostly covers the spot on my hand that I bruised when catching a fly ball and helps with the impact, but it would be much better if it covered a slightly larger area. it moves around a lot and doesn't like to stay on, to the point that I find myself not bothering to put it on lately (even though I really should). Better than some other versions I've seen, but I think I will be looking for a different option for next season.

I had an athlete playing up this past summer. She could clearly play but noticed her hand hurting after some catches. Worked on technique and gave her this option. Her hand fit better in the glove and it put anxiety to rest for the remainder of the season.Invest in your players, listen to them, drop the old school attitude and support them. Glad my players trust the coaches and I to develop and protect them.

It doesn’t hurt when I catch the low inside balls anymore. I should have purchased this a couple of years ago when my daughter first started hitting 60 mph.

The Glove Insert is a real hand-saver. It provides cushioning and protection against impact, minimizing the risk of painful stings and injuries during sports. It's lightweight and comfortable, allowing me to focus on my game without worrying about hand discomfort. BUT buy more than one. It is small and gets lost in the catching bag.....or falls out when moving from field to field. OR when glove gets moved around in the dugout. They also do not seem extremely durable. Otherwise, Highly recommended!

Comfortable, good cushion easy to use, fits well on my glove and I can use it also under my batting glove. This way is easier to put my hands on my fielding glove. You may use it for batting too if you feel comfortable

Can feel the difference when catching balls. Not sure how it would hold up in a high level league where velocities would be higher.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.Once I get my glove on I completely forget I'm even wearing it, very comfortable.Bought this because I had a bone bruise on my hand from catching some balls in a bad spot - ever since I've picked this up it's been non-issue and no matter how I catch a ball there's no discomfort.
