This is great for my anxious 93 year old granny who broke her hip and had surgery. This keeps her legs in the exact position doctor recommened to accelerate healing. Great quality, soft and gentle material for the skin. My grandma is way more comfortable now and this helped greatly to reduce her pain.

I recently had an excision & reposition surgery of my femur/ acetabulum. I purchased this as a preventative post surgery so I wouldn’t move in bed & mess my surgery healing up. While I hate laying on my back , it definitely did a good performance. It is comfortable, not scratchy, good durability, it’s light weight. I highly recommend.

This helped my mom's displacement a lot, but it was hard to keep clean with her incontinence. She also didn't find it to be very comfortable, but it did improve her day time comfort when we used it at night.

This product because of its size allows you to adjust the straps so your legs are elevated. The large size helps keep you sleeping on your back and legs straight after hip surgery. For the first 10 days it was a good training device for me but requires time and effort to set up and if you have to leave the bed at night, readjustments may be needed so I started using pillows after 10 days. Over priced due to its limitations.

This pillow is awesome. When I got it, I thought it was going to be flat. It was all compressed when it gained its shape, it was perfect. It’s firm and the exact size it should be.

This would do its job - preventing you from violating precautions after hip replacement surgery - but it was so bulky and uncomfortable, I couldn’t sleep with it.

This is by far the best abductor wedge my daughter has used. Material is soft, it has a cover that can be washed if soiled. Straps are soft and Velcro is strong to last.

Comfortable and works to keep legs apart and not crossing for those who have had hip surgery. You have to lie on your back to use this properly. The only problem is that you need another person to wrap the straps and unwrap them for you if you have hip precautions from your doctor. I ordered the small size because you don't need a really long pillow to do the job. I am 5'5 inches tall.

I had my hip replaced and needed this to ensure when I sleep my legs do not touch or flop around during the healing stage. The items arrived pretty quickly but we purchased multiple items and this item we did not open immediately as we didn’t think there would be an issue… it’s basically a pillow with straps, what could go wrong?Well, my first night back home my husband got the abduction pillow for me, we placed it accordingly and it is very comfortable BUT the straps had NO Velcro on them, you need the straps to hold your legs in place which is the point of using this item. We had to quickly put our thinking caps on and find something to hold my legs in place and the only thing we could find was belts from old house coats but those are very thin and almost not long enough to go all around and tie up.I have sent a message to the seller but have not heard a response.
