Your cart is empty.X-Clear is a clear, gloss, interior/exterior waterproof sealer and finish. Designed to effectively bond to non-porous surfaces, X-Clear will preserve, seal and protect the surface, while providing superior protection from moisture penetration on hard-to-stick-to surfaces. Enriched with special additives, X-Clear will form a beautiful, non-yellowing, clear gloss finish. Reduces harmful water intrusion of the surface by sealing most cracks, crevices and pores to create a sheeting off of water. X-Clear is ideal for most surfaces, including: roof tiles, wood, aluminum, steel, galvanized, tin, masonry, brick and stone, cement tile and grout, Plexiglass and acrylic skylights, polyacrylate sunrooms and conservatories and most all other surfaces It is essential that the surface be cleaned well with a chlorine and water solution removing all dirt, stains and other contaminants. Apply straight from the can, do not thin. Apply at temperatures above 50 degrees F. Do not apply if rain or heavy dew is expected within 3 hours. Apply by brush, roller or spray, DO NOT allow puddling. Two coats are recommended with 4 hours dry time between coats. Spread rates will vary between 150-300 square feet per gallon. KEEP FROM FREEZING Do not apply when temperatures are below 50°F. Coatings should only be applied when ventilation is adequate With the addition of Hy-Tech ThermaCels ceramic additive you can also provide an insulating barrier to heat penetration! The addition of our insulating additive, ThermaCels however, will make the coating opaque and resemble frosted glass. This is due to the white color of the ceramic particles themselves.
