The paper seems to have a silver sheen to the scratched out lines. I bought it to use for a workshop that I will be teaching. Watch out for your fingernails, ink lifts easily. But it also is easy to scratch in the lines.

I actually bought this to use with our laser engraver. However, my daughter wanted to use a few of the aheets with the stencils. Sadly the stencils didn’t arrive!

Middle school art teacher (and mom) here. I purchased these as a free time activity for my students and they’re obsessed!! My 8 and 5 year olds also love this scratch art. They do scratch off very easily though, so be mindful of any bracelets or fingernails brushing against the pages.

Seems like it scratches okay, looking forward to trying a metal scratch nib with it. It arrived 5 days later than it said it would when I ordered it and the plastic scratch pen was broken.

Okay, let me tell you, I had such a GOOD REVIEW, and Amazon deleted it ðŸ‘Nothing against the product, this product is fine quality and size. If you are looking for genuine clay scratchboard, no. It works fine but under the black it looks like a slightly glossy plastic. I still made beautiful animals from it, so I'm not complaining.

I like how it came in bulk and is budget friendly for classroom purposes. Kit comes with some cute stencils. I will definitely be ordering more in the future! Highly recommend!
