Super soft is the version of this litter my cats love, maybe even more than anything! 😱 At first I thought the smaller grain might make a mess, but it doesn't. I do use a litter mat, but this barely tracks anywhere (if you have a wild crazy cat who kicks everything out your results may vary, but I have no issues). It's not painful for them or me to step on if I do have to clean any stray litter up once in a while. They seem to like the feel and smell of it. It has pretty much zero smell. If anything, there might be a very very light natural smell, but not like other natural litters I've tried that reeked of woodchips or something. And that's just if you put your face right up to it and try to smell it. It has ZERO odor after my cats use it. My house never smells like cat pee. Guests say, "I didn't even know you had a cat!" We have two! And one is a giant!Now, we do still get some odors from our Himalayan because she doesn't always cover her poop because she is a princess and she can't be bothered. But, we recently adopted a Maine coon and he loves to dig, and even though he has his own litter box, he is a gentleman of culture and he goes and covers up our princess's leavings for her. He's just that kind of guy!As others said, wait 5-10 minutes or so after your cat pees to give this litter a chance to clump. It does clump super well! It's just not as instant as some litters. What I LOVE about it is that once it does clump, it leaves very little soiled litter behind (if any) so what remains in the litterbox stays clean smelling for up to a week or so. I scoop the litterboxes daily and try to change out the litter every 5-7 days because I never want my friends to have to step on anything yucky.This litter is high quality. There might be cheaper litters, but we feel the value for money ratio is excellent. We probably go through about a box every month with 2 big litterboxes for our beauty and her beast. With one cat it was about a box purchased every 1.5-2 months. With any litter, change it out completely if it ever smells bad, and try to do that sooner rather than later. This litter is a champ.Flushable? YES!!!It scoops well, but like others said, don't fill your toilet to the brim scooping all of the clumps in at once and expect them all to flush. I scoop 2-3 clumps in, then flush and I've only ever clogged the toilet by trying to flush way more than that. If you do accidentally scoop too much into the toilet at once, you can wait a few minutes and the clumps should start to dissolve enough to try clumping, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so just take the advice, partner! I'm just glad this does flush because I don't have a convenient dumpster near my condo to walk bags out to the trash daily. Maybe I will try a litter genie soon to save water, though. But, in the meantime, it's nice that this litter does flush and is natural and biodegradable.We have tried lots of litter brands in the past and this is by far the best one. There might be a couple of clay or crystal brands that clump faster, but this really has pretty much no dust and we like that we're not causing ourself or our cats to breath anything iffy. I used to like World's Best cat litter, but now I don't know what I was thinking because this is so much better. This litter is also just super clean. We never have anything sticking to the litterbox. It works. If you're debating what to get, I don't think you could be disappointed with this. And I use a scoop mostly, but I do also have a sifting litterbox I use from time to time and Super soft works with the sifter easily. A little extra tapping compared to clay maybe.Pros:• No smell (or light clean smell. No fragrance. No allergy triggers for me)• clumps well. Not the fastest clump, not the slowest. Leaves hardly any soiled litter behind. Hard round clumps without stragglers.• my himi and my maine coon both love it• soft for their feet, nice to dig• less mess. Doesn't stick to their fur much if at all. Easily caught by litter mat• works with scoop or sifter• no dust in the air• dries out poop well• flushable (within reason)• lasts a week before needing full change with daily scooping (my bf says 9 days, I prefer 5, 7 is totally fine)Cons:• Not the fastest clump, but from 0 clumping to 10 being the best mega clumping, I still give this a 9. It can't beat clays for speed, so if you scoop right after your cat pees, like instantly, you might get that one clump kind of falling apart if it is still moist, but usually not. It still clumps super well on a regular basis. Firm easily scooped clumps.• I would like it to be less expensive, but I would like everything to be less expensive.• that's it!I rarely leave reviews for cat litter, but I have purchased this litter over a dozen times and my bf has purchased it for us about 100 times, so it's definitely our favorite. Every now and then we test a new litter just to make sure we still have the best. We even set two boxes out for our cats to choose, and they keep choosing Okocat. Yay!

Any litter, you should be sifting waste out of, on a daily basis. So long as you aren't lazy about cleaning out the box, this litter is perfect.TL;DR: Spend the extra money on getting this instead of normal sifting litter. It is worth it. No major drawbacks.Pros: Masks odor well; Clumps well; Very little dust; Weight is between normal clay litter and "lightweight" clay litter;Cons: Not for the people that use the "robot" litter machines; Hard to sift with NORMAL clay litter sifters (ensures you almost never have leftover grains soaked with pee leading to the classic "ammonia" litter box smell, so a pro in that regard); Runs out quicker than you would like due to the quality of the clumping;Same as their competition: Clumps like high end clumping litter at similar price; Distinct cumps don't get buried in a well-filled litter box; Doesn't attract pests like any other non-food based litter; TECHNICALLY it is flushable like food based litter;

As someone who has searched high and low for a cat litter that would not end up in my bed and all over my floor, I LOVE this product (Okocat for long hair breeds). My little bundle of hyperactivity (aka a part Saimese, medium/long haired beauty named Mia) loves to dig deep into her cat litter. She also loves to leap straight out of her litter box and right onto my poor, ever suffering, bed. As someone who has to keep the box in my room (due to space requirements and a waaaaay too curious puppy dog), having a clean space is super important to me and as such, I have been struggling with maintaining a clean environment for myself and my cat since I got her 6 months ago. Every other litter has ended up everywhere, and has either had dust issues (I have allergies), an overwhelming smell/perfume issue, or is just generally unhealthy for my Mia (I'd much rather she not get lung cancer or asthma from using clay litters, but will admit that until now, clay had been the best option for us). Alas, I thought I was going to have to live with little disgusting pieces of litter in my bed and on my floors forever. Also, crystals were not an option because my last cat actually died from health problems caused by his crystal cat litter (it was horrible and I highly suggest that people research health concerns related to crystals before innocently bringing it into their homes...). Anyway, after trial and error with just about every cat litter under the sun (thank goodness I have an adventurous cat who will try anything), I ran into Okocat for long hair breeds.So, all the good things about this litter: 1. There is almost no tracking at all (just a bit around the box when an excited kitty jumps out). 2. There is no smell other than a slight wood smell right after the cat pees (if you notice a smell after your cat poops, try adding another inch or 2 of pellets as my cat just needed the extra pellets to figure out how to get everything covered), 3. It feels/seems cleaner due to Okocat claiming that it kills 99% of all bacteria (unlike other litters that only claim to kill odor causing bacteria...what about all the other nasties?!). 4 It clumps pretty well (they do break up some, but I have a solution for that issue if you read further) for a natural litter. 5. It is natural and healthier for my cat than other options.The downsides (not many, but worth considering): 1. You'll have to shop around because the prices on here can be good some days and terrible the next. Recently, I found this litter on another site for $10 less per box...so yeah...make sure you are getting the best price. 2. There is some dust. It's not horrible, but if you have allergies like me, you'll want to use a sifter of some kind to put clean litter in so you don't end up pouring sawdust in the litterbox every time you put new litter in. Also, after a couple weeks of use (even with scooping 2 times per day like I do), you'll notice some sawdust building up in the litterbox just from litter getting crumbled up with digging, etc... Even though it works up my allergies a bit when cleaning, I can accept some coughing (it's just for a few minutes anyway) if it means that I'm not exposing my cat to types of dust that can cause lung cancer down the line - I'd like to note that other types of litter made my cat cough, but this doesn't seem to do that to her as much. 3. It takes some creativity to get the scooping process to actually leave a nice and clean box if you are not used to clumping pellet litter. So, onward to my solution!!!There is no specific scoop that has been made by Okocat for scooping this litter, so you have to find something that won't scoop out too much good litter while also being able to get rid of small pieces that may break away from a main clump of pee while scooping (poop is not a problem. It just dries out and is easy to remove). While some people suggest the Catit litter scoop, this was not useful to me since I have back problems and can't bend down to get at the litter to scoop it without suffering later. So, after some trial and error, I found a great and easy option.First, I got the PURRR-FECT SCOOP (I already had it), which is basically a litter scoop that you can stand while using. The newest version of this scoop has holes at the front that are wide enough to let pellets through and small holes at the back that can capture even tiny broken pieces that might usually be missed when scooping. This is a great scoop. However, it is too small to sift through the whole box quickly and if you scoop too much at once, the whole thing clogs up and is useless. So, I use this just to get the small pieces that escape my main scooper.My main scoop basically had to be made because there are no standing scoopers that have holes big enough for pellets (as far as I could find). BUT, this was easy to do. I found a generic metal scoop in my local Walmart that had huge holes (perfect for pellets) but a tiny handle. So, I spent $2 to get a 1 inch diameter pvc pipe from my local hardware store, had a store employee cut the pipe to about 3 feel long and used waterproof (just in case!) Gorilla tape to tape everything together. I basically just stuck the handle of the metal scoop into one end of the pvc pipe and then wrapped Gorilla tape around it all to keep it strongly attached.I have now been using my 2 standing litter scoops (one bought and one made) for 3 weeks and the scooping process is MUCH easier. I can clean out all clumps, all little broken pieces, etc....and an added bonus is that since I no longer have to bend down to scoop, my face is far enough away from the box when cleaning that my allergies are barely affected by any sawdust that might be around.So, to repeat, I LOVE the litter, but the only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because aside from the price issues, I had to do a little bit of problem solving to make it perfect for myself. Once that was done, I have found myself happier with Okocat than any other, and my Mia is happy as well.

I have used this litter for nearly one year and it is just fantastic. Yes it tracks and yes you have to sweep once a day ( 2 cat home ) but that is nothing when you compare to the clay brands. This brand does not stink! if anything I catch whiffs of lumber, and I dont mind that at all. One of my cats paws cant handle the crappy clay litter brands, I spent a fortune ($50) on one bag of recycled paper pellets before finding this one and the pellets are THE WORST. You cant scoop and sift it, you cant tell which pellets are filled with urine etc. so I gave it away. The super soft wood in this product does not bother either of my cats paws. It is totally flushable! Just watch you dont drop a big bomb into the toilet or it may plug, but is easily cleared with a plunger ;) It does track but what litter doesnt ( or is perfect?)It lasts a long time, I use about 1 $30 box per month for 2 cats and 2 litter boxes!! I will never go back to that gross clay stuff that embeds and sticks in between the paw pads and in the paw fur (causing infection in my cats paw more than once, vet bills!)I honestly rate this 10 out of 10. Just buy a broom or vacuum the tracked stuff once a day and you will love it too :)

We have tried World's best, Boxie Cat, Pretty Litter, regular store kitty litters and more. This is my favourite and my cat's like it quite well.We have 3 cats in an apartment. So smell is an on going concern (along with hair, but that is another story). This was hands down the best litter at eliminating smell. I also hate it when kitty litter tracks everywhere. This is moderately good for that. Not as good as the crystal kitty litter, but my cats were not a fan of crystal (pretty litter and the like) litter and I found it was heavy and smelly unless replaced way more often than recommended.This is light, smells like wood shavings, clumps well, my cats like using it and it only moderately tracks around. And because it is light it sweeps and vacuums up easily. Also lasts a good amount of time.

Hi, I've been using this for 6 months now and it's really good. Hardly any odour and it clumps very well so you don't need to use to much. Upfront it's more money than the supermarket stuff, but you use a lot less, so actually cheaper. I would recommend it. Sprinkle a little of your old cat litter on top just so the cat gets used to the new stuff.

I love love LOVE this litter. i have my cat's litter box in my bathroom so its important to me that it doesn't stink, and this litter delivered! it clumps nicely around liquid and sometimes the solid waste stays on top of the pellets if my cat decides he doesn't want to bury it XD which i still find great for keeping an eye on my baby's health. even then its still scentless. for tracking i use a litter mat and its amazing how i rarely ever find a stray pellet outside the mat. i also used it with a bit of litter deodorizer for good measure, and cleaning the box has never been easier
