I love that this train can haul a little cargo in its cart. However, despite having a peg in the cart, is too small for other Thomas and Friends items that fit on the little pegs. We put one of the little cows from the Moove Over! Set in the cart for a ride, and it fits very comfortably.

I purchased this train along with 3 others to gift my Thomas the Train enthusiasts; my two little boys ages 3 and 6. They have been avid collectors of different Thomas the Trains, and have probably acquired 30 or more trains and several of the train track sets, including the large Knapford Station. I was drawn to this Ashima train because of the cultural aspect of it. I wasnt sure if my kids were familiar with this particular train, but my oldest son knew who she was right away upon digging through his stocking to find her. I love the design of Ashima, and the beautiful, rich colors used to pain her. I didn't notice that she was a die cast train, and not one with a switch that could be used with batteries to operate on her own. My boys do prefer to use those trains. Although, I appreciate that Ashima still has a hitch in the front so she can be pulled by a motorized train.I would recommend Ashima as an addition to any child's Thomas the train collection! I love getting unique, and lesser known trains as it inspires my kids to find the episode that they are in, and can serve as teaching moments where they can learn a bit about the places/countries that those trains represent.

Piccola locomotiva con carrellino a traino. Non ha pile, luci o suoni e si muove a mano. Il bambino quando l'ha ricevuta si è incuriosito perché il giocattolo è molto diverso dalle macchinine avute sinora e ci ha giocato per parecchio tempo. Per quello che costa mi sento di consigliarlo senza indugio.
