Got this for my son who us in Tech school for the airforce. Added it to his birthday package he got a kick out of it. Says now he drives his roommate nuts with the sounds sometimes. They both do it. They're always kids at heart even as they are all grown up.

In these days and age when a child can get shot by the law enforcement for waving a toy gun, not worth the grief. If you're adamant about giving it as a gift for a child, then use model paints on it. Overall, it is nicely built and is solid (the top is metal and the bottom is hard plastic).
