Bolt was as described. Worked well to fabricate a plate on the frame of my hot rod that can be bolted on. Bolts welded in nicely and the threads were well cut. Should last a long time

These bolts work well - I wanted a fairly flat surface. Disappointing that they didn't come with nuts.

I wanted to make some clamp holders for my shop and needed a bolt with a big wide head (to spread the load of the weight of the brackets holding the clamps), but also allow me to only use 1/2" plywood as the backer. These are nothing new, but they really fit the bill and do exactly what I needed.I'll attach a picture of the clamp holders. you can't really see the elevator bolts, but they heads are recessed just enough into the back of the plywood so that they don't interfere with the french cleats. These coupled with the metal shelf brackets make some really quick, easy, and strong clamp holders!

These things are great. Needed to find something rock solid for mounting a boxing speed bag platform through 3/4†maple planks while sitting flush against OSB prior to bolting the entire unit through studs w lags.These are so much better (and easier) than carriage bolts if you’re looking to make that perpendicular connection which needs a flush backing. NOTE: keep in mind there’s a very slightly angled flange on the underside, so you’ll need to sand a small area (I did a very non-pro/DIY-worthy job of this w Dremel+sanding cones and it still worked great) countersink and note the square; and make sure to account for the small, square shaped pieces which connects the bolt w the head and countersink for that. THESE ARE GLORIOUS WHEN YOU NEED EM!
