I put it on some bolts I replaced that were originally welded in place. Worked great

As far as push-nuts go, these are adequate push-nuts. You can push them on a bolt or a rod and they will hold something in place. I build repurposed item art and I use these for many of my projects and they work well.

Needed these to replace a broken push nut on the transmission linkage for a Pug F570 6x4. Same size as the original and worked perfectly!

Does the same job as the original fastener. Definitely not a threaded nut replacement.
