I got this to run two fused short wires from a 0 gauge wire to an amp and a supplemental battery. It is solid and mounted securely to a rack and the cover stays put, but I use a light bead of adhesive to be sure.

This product was perfect for a Big 3 electrical upgrade to the charging system in an OBS Chevy.Benefits:- Easy to mount and install- Fits 1/0 AWG wire and ferrules perfectly- The protective cover fits securely to prevent shortsOther thoughts:- Remember to use fuses in your wiring design!Overall I was really happy with how easy these were to use, and how well they performed. Used to add an extra 4 gauge line into my 0 awg line. Worked well. 0 gauge fit nicely too.

Better quality than I expected. I have 1/0 wire running from the battery up front to this distribution block in my trunk. I use this product to run two separate amps, one zero guage after the split runs to my mono amp to push my subs and the other has 4 guage running to a 4 channel that powers my mids and highs. I used a multi meter to check for voltage drop after the block to make sure I wasn't losing any power and the reading was the same at both amps as it was at my battery. Great product. Would def buy again! The plastic cover actually clicks into place and is very study unlike others I have tried in the past. The only downside is the limited mounting holes (has 2, the pic is inaccurate) but I was able to drill an additional hole and it's now solid as a rock. All in all EXTREMELY satisfied with my purchase. P.S. it has 3 reducer ferruls that I ended up not using. They seem to be well made but I opted to use a different type that I had from previous installs.

Solid build construction, looks great, nice and heavy. But it fits 1/0 THNN with the ferrule in. I think you could get 2/0 and maybe 3/0 in without the ferrule

This product is exactly as advertised, the ports easily accept 0g and has an insert for 2/4g. It also provides adequate spacing between wires and has a quality weight and feel. The product met all of my expectations. Would purchase again
