Part fit perfectly to the tank with the exception of the valve handle which does not fit the side panel of which it protrudes past

I purchased this because my brother that's a so called mechanic said I needed this for my artic cat 400 4x4 but turns out that the old one is fine, now I have a spare

It does not tell how long the stem for the shutoff knob. It sticks out the side of atv 1/2" to far so you could catch it and break off.Supposed to be flush.
