Tips:.1. Use an additional all-thread section for longer drain tubes.2. To finish angles greater than 90 degrees insert only one die into tube and peen/roll the edge with a hammer by tapping on the outer edge of die.3. Important: anneal/heat metal with propane torch to almost cherry red then let cool. (Softens metal so metal becomes more malleable for you non metal workers.4. Use lots of 4200 3m sealant inside hole and let dry 24hrs before you use the dies to roll the edge over the O-ring.5. Cut drain tube so enough brass is protruding enough to slip on two O-rings but use only one O-ring per side.6. O-ring ten pack from Graingers is item model # 5jjW7 . Or match that size to your source.Have fun

Using this tool I was able to swage a replacement brass drain plug tube without any problems. After cutting the replacement drain plug tube about an 1/8 inch longer than the hole through the boat, I was able to install this tool into the ID of the replacement tube, using standard wrenches made a nice swaged end on the drain tube.
