The two cables I received were brand new. The construction looks quite good and appear it will last with lots of usage. I am actually using it to split CAN Bus wiring and it works like a charm. I have seen some other splitters that go for 40 bucks a cable. This would be a bargain and work just as well. They will get lot of use since they get thrown around with other tools and on the test vehicle I am on.

This cable serves it's purpose for my application (connecting two different com devices to one port). With that being said, don't expect to turn those two com devices on and expect them both to work - as i'm sure most of your know! Great quality cable. No problems what so ever. Nor' do I feel that there will be any down the road.

Hated that it was an "add-on", that I later realized meant you needed to buy a lot of other stuff before this product could be purchased/shipped. seemed odd to me. Probably won't buy that type again.

I bought this splitter to connect a single GPS antenna to two mobile radio scanners in my car. It works perfectly. The build and quality of the product is solid.

It was a long shot but I has two speaker sets that use this connector. I decided to split the signal from the base unit so now instead of 2.1 front speakers I have quasi surround 4.1. It isn't true surround but the sound feels more full than simple front speakers.

My only complaint here is that the product didn't match the picture. The photo shows a black cord with a female connector to 2 split male ends where the actual product is a traditional grey cord with a male connector to 2 split female ends.I uploaded the product image on site (the black one) and what I actually received (the grey one).Note: this isn't really a knock against the product, I actually prefer the one I received with proper connectors, just a clarification as I'm now going to have to swap an M to F cable for the F to F cable I had to link this up for my project.
