I wanted to build a rev trainer for bowling. They sell products using this type of bearing, but to purchase one already made cistern over $150. I purchased these bearings, used a puce of work I already had, and it works perfectly!

These are incredibly noisy as other reviewers have noted. They seemed well built and are heavy. Sadly, they wouldn't roll well on a commercial vinyl floor that is level

I purchased some large plywood shipping boxes for storing wood fuel pellets to keep critters and moisture from damaging them. I wanted to add casters but didn't want to increase the height of the boxes too much. They are already high enough that it is a stretch for me to reach into them. These roller balls mounted in a flange were exactly what I needed to allow the boxes that are already heavy even empty, but will be extremely heavy once loaded with wood pellets. After securing them to one box, I ordered enough to add them to 2 more of the boxes.
