This kit is great and the way to go. Saved $200 by using this rebuild kit. Easy to install, took less than and hour. Easy to follow YouTube's available.

With this kit I could fix my old 1“ Wilkins 600 pressure regulator. So much easier and less expensive than replacing the entire unit. Unfortunately, the grease which is supposed to be included in the kit was missing (so 4 instead of 5 stars). Of course, it remains to be seen how long this fix will last.

It’s fitted well on Model 600, so far my regulator valve is working as it supposes to be. The water pressure is 70-73 depending on daytime and nighttime. The kit had saved me $420 for the new valve from local store.

My pressure would creep up to over 120psi, no matter what adjustments I made. I found the old spring was rusted, the rubber was gross. The replacement was easy but there’s no instructions, plenty of info on the YouTube though.I’m rating it four stars instead of five for only two reasons, really deserves a 4.5 maybe, but they don’t include grease and you should absolutely use some silicone grease on the stem o-ring, the second reason is they include an extra o-ring that isn’t used, at least for my model, so I was confused until I did some more research. Other than those non-performance affecting things, it was a great repair. My water pressure is back to normal and I have full control over it again.
