Don't Recommend this is really thin and the nuts walk all over the threads. It's super thin and will either snap or bend

I should have read some reviews before purchasing the first axle I saw that was the proper length. The dust caps that came with my set were bent and unusable, and the rear axle bent after my first ride on moderate terrain. Save your money and look elsewhere. Hopefully my one star review will drive down the average and steer people away.

Looks to be high quality though the dust cap did not fit my original wheel on my old Trek 920. I wish more specs were provided with the product literature. I ended up getting a new wheel with axel installed.

So this axle does not measure 9.5mm... it in fact measured somewhere under 9.37.. at the threads and a lot less where the threads are not rolled. This was an issue because I needed the original hardware from my broken axle and the nuts/ cups are too large for this one.As it turns out, my "9.5mm" axle was in fact a 10mm, it just measures small. These things are produced en mass and cheaply and tolerances are large. I got another axle (a 10mm this time) and it was identical to my previous "9.5mm" axle.If you have a 3/8" axle with 24 threads per inch - this is your axle. Order this one. If you axle is 9.5mm or slightly larger or does not have 24 threads per inch - this is not your axle. You might have a 10mm, even if it does not measure 10mm.

Though easy to install and proper fit, the rear bent after only a few weeks. Considering relacing them with better ones or go back to original bolted ones.

They work well but the cap was bent in shipping. Converted a cruiser BMX to quick release. Not sure how well they would work for a bike that would be treated roughly or used for jumps.

I had to reorder to get cones and dust caps that were usable. The dust cap would wiggle or actually slide off the cones This occurs from being thrown around in shipping. It's quite easy to bend the dust caps so tossing these around in the mail would result in what I received. It took two orders to have good dust caps and cones.

Installation was easy but I went on a 15 minute trail ride with the typical roots, rocks, and small logs and next thing I knew my tire was rubbing my frame. I looked into it and found that the new axle was bent and in unusable condition. I'm glad this was cheap. You certainly get what you pay for.....
