The metal these springs are made from is too soft they bent after two uses and yes I mean lowering and raising my utility trailer gate Twice! They lost all coil. Completely bent and no longer assist in helping the gate be lowered or raised. Don't buy these.

The springs only assist with the first foot or two of lift they need to be wound Ruther ba k I can't remember if this is on par with factory spec bit I will be fabricating a better way either moving the stopper or adding a new one or some form of fabrication that will yield a full travel result in effective helping from the spring not too happy for the price

Put them on ramps that weigh about 60 to 80 pounds and it’s a night and day difference lifting them up

The springs I received did not hold there shape, more like soft steel rather than spring steel.
