I have very bad arthritis. My physical therapist recommended swim gloves for resistance in lieu of paddles or dumbells. These are well constructed and worked great. I hadn't thought about them being helpful in gripping the bar to get in and out of the pool so that's a nice plus. Great value at a great price.
