I needed some low friction tape to make it easier to open and close some wood drawers. They are the old fashion type that doesn't use rails - just wood on wood. But I love them and didn't want to throw them out. This tape made the drawers much easier to open and close - it's like having new furniture! Save yourself the headache of trying to open and close wood on wood drawers - get some of this and make your life easier. Recommended.

I used this tape on drawers in several old pieces of furniture that have problems with the drawers sliding.Any drawer that was sliding roughly but not already too tight in the space, this tape helped make the drawer slide easier and quieter. I was surprised at how easily this stuck to wooden drawer slides.Any drawer that was having trouble because it was too tight in its slot in the furniture, this tape did not help. It added a little tiny bit to the effective height of the drawer, and made the sticking problem somewhat worse.So… choose your target applications carefully, and this tape will work wonders. For those tight drawers, though, you might want to stick with an application of basic wax.
