Well made product with crisp cut out lines in sturdy 1/4†thick plastic. I think it would be helpful if there were centering lines imprinted, or etched, on the cutouts of each circle to aid in placing on workpiece. When designing project plans (the old way—on a drawing board—I’m accustomed to working with circle templates that have them (see photo).Adding the centering lines to this template would be helpful in the placement on the project piece.

This template is VERY rigid and tough!! Perfect for routering your circle cuts. I would buy again for sure! Already used it on my router to cut aluminum.

I am somewhat disappointed in this circle template. It is made of nice thick plexiglass and should hold up well, but it has an odd assortment of sizes. It goes from 1/4" diameter to 3-1/2" diameter in (mostly) 1/4" increments EXCEPT, instead of 2-1/4" you get 2-5/16", instead of 2-3/4" you get 2-7/6" and there is no 3-1/4". Also, the 3/4" and below sizes are really not that useful as I would tend to just use a forstner bit or simply plunge with the appropriate router bit circles that small.The real disappointment, however is the lack of centering cross-hairs. As a result, in order to accurately position the template you will need to lay out the circle with a compass first. Overall, it can get the job done, but there are some significant negatives too.

This circle template is compact, only 10 inches wide, and a very effective tool. The Plexiglas construction is strong and thick. Unlike many templates, it is rigid. This makes it much more secure and solid to assure accurate results. The quarter inch thickness really helps with a router. I definitely prefer this over a flexible template. I also like the clarity. It makes it easy to see the actual cutting area of the work area. This is important to me. It gives me much more confidence and it speeds up the job. I wish they had included a felt case for it to protect that clarity from scratches and marks. I will need to locate one for it. The sizes of the holes are etched in the Plexiglass for easy identification. I wish they had put the 2†etching in a different spot. It is in a thin area in the upper left and it is easy to miss due to the reflection of the cut edge of the bigger circle by it. All in all, it is hard to beat this template and considering the quality of construction, it is a good value. This one is a keeper.
