Succulent cuttings

Succulent Cuttings from over 50 Varieties

All of our succulents are grown locally in our Succulent & Cactus Nursery located in California. Each cutting will be hand selected from our nursery mother stock. We do our best to include as much mix of colors and textures based on the current availability but you will not necessary receive the cuttings shown in the picture for this listing. Please note that not all varieties are available year round and choices of cuttings will depend on mother nature herself and whether or not certain varieties are in dormancy.

What to Expect?

  • Beginner-friendly cuttings with no roots that are easy to root with little to no experience.
  • 10 different varieties freshly cut and calloused prior to shipping to ensure healthy arrival.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: This listing is for cuttings only with no roots, pots, or soil included.
  • Keep in mind that these cuttings travel in a box for approx. 5 days and colors may appear different.

Beginner Friendly Directions On How To Root Your Cuttings

  1. Open your box immediately upon arrival. Never expose them under direct sun when arrival
  2. It is crucial that you use a well draining Succulent & Cactus soil mix to prevent root rot, before planting LIGHTLY moisten the soil & plant your cutting ½-2 inches into the soil. It is important not to over moisten the soil as this will lead to root rot since the cuttings don't yet have roots.
  3. Choose a warm, airy location under indirect/filtered sunlight, or shaded area after planting. Water it 5-10 days after planting depending on condition. All cuttings usually develop roots anywhere from 2-6 weeks. NEVER PLACE CUTTINGS IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT AS THIS WILL KILL YOUR CUTTINGS WITHIN A FEW HOURS.
  4. Once your cuttings grow a root system, your water cycle should be once a week or when soil is COMPLETELY DRY. Keep in mind that the colors/vibrancy of your succulents will ultimately depend on where they are located (indoor/outdoor) and of course the time of year as succulents also go through dormancy.

Terrariums

The size and slow growth of these succulents make them perfect for terrariums. They thrive in high-light and low-moisture environments, so open terrariums with access to indirect sunlight work best for a vibrant Terrarium.

Read the info below the product on the order page -when u scroll down it gives very good instructions on how to plant and manage these when u first recieve them. I basically combined most of their instructions with my own plant knowledge and it worked great. I Loved them. (BTW: the one in the middle isn’t a succulent. It’s my plant I had before) I just added the succulents around it to add something extra to the pot. Anyways, I was very concerned because they have no roots and they are shipped with alot of banging around and no light or water etc. obviously it’s alot for these little guys to go through but I had a very dry soil I had from a previous plant already sitting empty with soil only in the sun. So when I got them I did nothing but plant them about 2 inches deep in the dry soil.. (Basically up to the top part of the stem with dirt) I refrained from watering mine for about 3 days other than a very light spritz after I got them planted the first day. Only the top of the succulents. I kept em indoors up to the 4th day n spritzed the tops lightly once aday. And then I took em outside on the 4th day when the sun was about a couple hours from going down n left em out through the night. I did that at 1st then on the 2nd day I left them out all day n brought them in at night. After about a week of doing this I’ve left them outside permanently . I just didn’t wanna take em and shove em outside n leave em in the sun the 1st day with no water and still very fragile. It’s very important to keep em indoors until u feel like the life is coming back a little. Atleast 4 days! Apparently it was the right move because they are thriving. I’ve only had them like a week n a half and it looks like the 3 biggest ones have doubled in size. Like I said probably just cause they look so puny when u 1st get em. But either way I’m very happy with my purchase. U can’t really get angry at how they arrive, because they are living things being shipped with no roots. But, if u follow those directions they should survive. I wouldn’t water but once a week. They get root rot if u over do it. Once they take root u can re pot them or do whatever basically. Succulents are really easy to get going. Very good for beginners. Thanks Amazon 😊

The varieties exceeded my expectations. I ordered the 10-pack, received 6 rosette cuttings, the biggest one about 2 inches in diameter. The other four are a leafy one, a pointy one, and two towering ones. Very thoughtful collection of varieties—these cuttings can make one or two remarkably adorable combos, with proper combinations of rosettes and others.Packaging is nice, secure and not at all messy. I got mine in a small box filled with foam and the cuttings are in the middle of the foam. Arrived with just one or two snapped off leaves! All other cuttings are intact. And they’re healthy!Only thing I’d like to see improvement is some cuttings are way too short. Obviously the parents were grown in great conditions so they are compact. The leaves are very close to each other. Some rosette cuttings are less than an inch long. It’s required to remove a few leaves from bottom to promote rooting (roots emerge from where leaves are snapped off), so after that’s done the cuttings are only barely half an inch long and not to many leaves left.

I love my succulents I received they were mostly healthy. A few were a little questionable but we’ll see. I did not receive 10 different kind of succulents but the variety I did receive was easy to plant and are beautiful.

All cuttings arrived alive and in good condition , with the exception of the crassula perforata which had the top 1" broken off , which was OK because I made 3 cuttings out of the one that they sent. These cuttings arrive with no roots , calloused and ready to start rooting. One month later and all of the cutting have rooted and are doing well . I will update with more photos when I get all of the cuttings currently in the propagation tray potted up. Very good value for the money , easy to grow and beginner friendly.

All 10 cuttings arrived in perfect shape and are exactly as I had pictured. They are so cute! They even survived several hours in cold temperatures in the negative while the box was in my mailbox. These cuttings make me happy every time I look at them. I don't know if they will root and survive, but they have a definite fighting chance from the way they arrived!

Succulents shipped fast so arrived before anything dried out, overall good quality but one did have some icky spots (tho I think it should still root) packaged was a small box with stuffing as padding to protect the succulents and it did the job just fine. I did get at least one repeat type (one big one small) but not a huge deal imo. I’d recommend if you don’t have options local to you but always say support local nurseries when you can. I didn’t end up with anything rare to my area (Midwest) and could find most of my cuts at local stores but they are healthy and viable succulents! Will update if they don’t root or do root, all are in soil, see photos for damaged succ and updates
