The chain is fine and seems sturdy. I was under the impression it was a matt finish, but it is not.

Has a flatter, more industrial finish than expected. Not happy with them for hanging interior lighting fixture from 2 story ceiling where the chain is long & obvious . Not at all like the lighting fixture chains sold at retail in national home improvement stores which have brighter, more refined finish.
