The best price out there on this product. Install kit is complete! No need to buy anything else. They even supply the sealant for the roof transition piece. The part I like the most is the transition piece for the roof is metal and not plastic. This is essential because if you need to replace your roof down the road you can use the transition piece again. The best warranty out there for this type of product. Quality parts included in the kit. You can’t go wrong with this kit. Nice bright light output from the install. Turned a very large dark bathroom into instant daylight. Wife loves it! That’s the most important part :O)

Impressed with the quality and easy installation. Sealant was even included with the package. 16 Year old son and my Wife were able to remove our hail damaged 8" tube and install this 10" tube without issue. Zip tool for the ceiling drywall and a sawzall for the roof. The big heavy gauge aluminum flashing is impressive and gives a good feeling about not leaking on our 1-12 pitch rolled asphalt roof. We called the manufacturer for advice on what type of flashing to order and they were very helpful.

I bought two of these for a house I'm building. The do put out excellent light and they are well built BUT there are some design flaws in my opinion. Starting at the top the black aluminum collar that holds the top of the tube and the dome should be much narrower on the outside diameter. I installed these with a metal roof and because it flairs out so much in such a short height neither of the large size flashing boots would work. I ended up just using a $#!+ ton of silicone to seal the outer collar to the roof. I called the company to ask if they had a method for installing for new construction and they emailed me the same instructions that came with the unit which are for existing. I ended up cutting the tube a 1/2" below and securing it to the bottom of the joist with a screw but there was no way to protect the inside during insulation and drywall except to tape plastic over it and no way to keep the shape round. The ring that installs around the bottom is secured to the ceiling using clips on the backside of the ceiling that the screws go into. That had to be installed after drywall and paint so getting the clips in was impossible so I secured the ring to the tube with screws around the inside. The tube is about a 1/4" smaller diameter than the bottom ring and they give you a self adhesive seal that goes in between. Again, you can't get that in if you're having to install this in stages as you would in new construction so as you screw the bottom ring onto the tube is does distort as it isn't a perfect fit. I ended up caulking the gap to seal. Then the trim ring. It just "snaps" into the other. Sort of. All in all, I'm pleased with the product and the end result after using some ingenuity to make it work but it could use some design improvements in my opinion.

This has changed my kitchen! The light that it brings in is amazing. It took my friend 2 hours to install. He was impressed by the flashing.

I paid to have these installed so I can't speak to that. However they made our cave like kitchen look great. They are effective and look great too.

I purchased these sky tubes that my contractor said were affordable and would do the job just fine. One of the boxes came damaged. We decided to go another way with sky lights. I hadn’t opened the other boxes and started a refund. I paid $644.10 for the 3 sky tubes and was only refunded $518.82. $126 in shipping?? Come on. I’ve sent two messages to Green Frog Mountain company and haven’t heard anything back yet. Don’t buy them if you’reNot %100 sure this is what you want.

Why bother with normal skylights when the wear out... and start leaking. Amazing amount of light and I only bought the 10" diameter models.. for a bathroom and another for a hallway with the washer dryer... LOTS of light.. using up much less space on the roof. Easy install.. and very satisfied.
