These pulleys worked great. I had children and grandchildren coming and needed to quickly create temporary floor space for strollers, toddler bikes, boxes etc. Do grown children ever stop bringing "stuff" to Mom and Dad to store? The ceiling of my garage looks like a junkyard . . . I mean.... tightly packed with cherished items.I used these pulleys to raise 4 bikes (among a myriad of other things) off the floor during the winter. The pulley wheels turned easily, smoothly (as expected) and there was minimal side to side wiggle room between the wheel and the outside of the pully. This is good, and important. If there is too much space between the wheel and the side of the pulley, the rope or cable can get stuck if the rope derails.I used 3/16" nylon rope with some the pulleys, and 5/16" cotton rope with the pulleys for the bikes. The pulleys were flawless with both ropes. If you're looking for high quality, low cost, these are for you. You won't be disappointed.

Definitely worth the 3 dollar unit price .Especially for stainless steel .I've included pix of the the swiveling ring connection for load consideration .It is attached via a #3 Phillips , 4 mm diameter course thread , and then brazed into place .You can see in the 3rd photo that one example is a bit off center at the top .But ,they are 3 dollar pullies .I don't doubt the 550 Lbs. weight rating though .Overall a really great buy .
