Talavera tiles are NOT frost proof and therefore they are NOT suitable for outdoor use in freeze/thaw climates. - [coverage] One pound of broken Mexican tiles is about three 4x4 talavera tiles and it covers an area of approximately 0.33 SQ. FT. (or 3 pounds are required to cover 1 square foot area)
- [shipping] Please note that broken tile is sold by the pound, not by box, therefore we may consolidate orders into one box.

Glazed ceramics are commonly made using this chemical. Lead is a glaze component for bonding the tile bisque and glazes.

Use these for almost all my projects. “Broken pieces†in my 4-5 orders to date has been 80-85% half-tiles giving me complete freedom to custom cut every piece. Great consistency in color shadings over multiple mixed color boxes.

This produst and supplier is so superior to the current prime deal. Just pay the shipping. I just received the 25 pound box and there are NO bright colors. The paint in these tiles are bright and beautiful. TIERRA Y FUEGO has a superior product and includes the colors you need over the Prime deal.

I bought two boxes for this project (one box of multicolor tiles and one box of blue tiles) and I had some tiles leftover. I love the variety of colors. I had to break all of them, but that's ok because I could get the shapes I wanted.
