Initially I thought this set of bearings was awesome---especially for the price. But now that I'm installing these, I see that 3 of the 10 are missing a single roller bearing-- must have fallen out during shipment or handling. Either way, something is wrong. I just ordered another set. I assume once in position and lubricated, they will do the job---wait and see...Well, the new set looks better than the first one. The housing looks more robust, so I'm buying more and will trade out my previous bearings. For the crazy low price, it's worth it. These bearings can go very high speed. They appear to be very well made.

These bearings are not precision due to their extremely low profile. They cannot be precise, their races are only 0.8 mm thick. I don't think they can be used at high RPM service.But for slow motion these bearings are perfect. The cage has 33 rollers. They are contained within the cage and cannot fall out. I think these bearings can support a heavy trust load. I have tried all of them on a .750" diameter shaft and the fit is a little loose, but it is OK for a trust bearing. The washers OD is 31.4 mm and they are 0.8 mm thick. The total bearing height is around 3.57 mm. I am going to use these bearings in a machine fixture, where they will take all axial cutting forces.

I purchased these after learning that these are a cheap upgrade to a basic riding mower to make the steering much easier when placed under the spindles so that the weight of the tractor/mower is on top of them “poor man’s power steering “ I highly recommend doing this !

I chose these over what other people are selling for 'poor man's power steering' because they are an exact fit. Some others offer 20mm ID x 35mm OD (0.787 x 1.378). The problem is that the worn spot on my lower steering arm is only 1.25 dia., so my opinion is that the 1.378 bearing would eventually bend (even with a washer under it) into the depression and would eventually stop working properly. These fit exactly .... the ID is spec'd at 0.750 but is closer to 0.754 so the slide down nicely over the 0.750 spindle. The OD is spec'd at 1.25 and fits in the worn depression. Bearing seem to be well made. I'd buy them again.

I used it on a tractor with a snowblower mounted on the front, hoping it would make steering easier. It made no difference.
