Chunky Core Wool Roving
Introducing our Chunky Core wool - a carded roving created from the same wool as our popular Maori blend. Specially selected for needle felting, this wool is perfect for all your fiber arts projects. With its quick and easy felting abilities, it's great for core and base layers. It is clean wool and un-dyed, natural ecru color.

- Maori Wool Roving: (named after the aboriginal people of New Zealand) is semi-soft, 27 microns, and is a favorite for beginners and experts alike for quick and precise needle felting. Maori Wool is also excellent for wet felting. Maori Wool is a blend of New Zealand wools created by DHG for the special needs of felting. It is from the Coopworth and Corriedale sheep - 2 popular breeds in New Zealand.

I used this to be the core of a felting project. It felts with a felting needle very well and took the colored felt over it very well too. It is an almond white, not a true snowy white. There was a little debris here and there in the fibers, but no odor at all. Good stuff!

I use this for the core of my needle felting projects. It felts nicely and is more reasonably priced than the colored wool that I top it with so saves me money. There is a enough in the package for several projects.

It's a great wool for using as a core on your felting projects. It felts really well. Colour is more of an off white natural colour. The only downside is there is alot of little tiny bits of debris in the wool which was a bit annoying as I had to pick it out. Would buy again as it felts well.
