These duo lock snaps are high quality. I am always sceptical of swivels and snaps because the metal is sometimes weak. These snaps are strong and I have not lost any fish because of a failed snap. They are also a great value for the money. As an avid fisherman, I highly recommend.

I've since changed over to the ones offered by the Scotank store here on Amazon.These were strong, with no issues.However, I used them for adding weights to my crab snares and found it just barely large enough to slide on the weights. I got the size #2 55lb from Scotank, which is doing the job well so far.

I bought these snaps to replace some older, more "name brand" ones, and they perform just as well. After dozens of fish, still no bending or any signs of damage on the snap itself. Amazing price, much less than what Gamakatsu sells them for too.

When it comes to hooks they are worthless, and provide no action at all.Seems to be okay (strong enough to do the job but a little hard to open) the add can be miss leading not having all day to read every word in every add I went ahead and bought because whey don't cost much. From the pictures in the add I was unsure if you get an assortment or not, HEADS UP you get just one size! Mine are #0 or 1/2 inch long. (The smallest one they make) anything bigger that the #0 size for lure ONLY also they come is a small zip lock type bag. That will be a drawback in the field. You have to supply whatever container you fill is best. But all in all I think it is a good product and. UPDATE I was planning on using with a size 12 fly but the gauge of the wire (on the smallest one they make) they are made from is to thick to let the size 12 hook (or fly) move in any form that a fish or you, would consider natural, you can get a size 12 hook on but it will sit at a 90 degree angle (not sitting well at the bottom of the loop) to the line! but no wiggle to the fly! (Completely unatural movement And that is the whole point of using these. (fish are not smart but they are NOT completely stupid ether). Sould be okay with a lure do to the larger eyelet that a lure has, but totally useless for with flys size 12 and smaller. Seriously need to be made out of a smaller gauge wire for eyelet of smaller hooks. Not everyone is after 30/50 lb fish!
